Equestrian Repairs

We have been repairing, restoring and altering high quality riding boots for over 25 years. We currently repair riding boots for the mounted division of the Metropolitan and City Police.

Riders at any level know the importance of good riding boots and it is worth while spending that little bit extra to buy a pair of top quality boots that fit well and will withstand the rigours of hacking and hunting as well as looking good in the show ring.

It is equally important that boots are repaired and maintained, we offer a very specialised service to all the riding community.

Boots can be parcelled up and sent to our workshops in Perth & Stirling for complete repair and renovation. Please see the postal repair page for more information.

You are equally welcome to call in at our workshop where boots and shoes of all descriptions are repaired and renovated using time-honoured traditional methods.

Riding Boots Repair:

We repair and restore riding boots of all shapes and sizes. In addition to re-soling and re-heeling, we offer a wide range of alterations including fitting zips, inserting elastic gusset panels and altering the length of the calf.

Ankle Boots Repair:

We can re-sole, re-heel and replace the elastic gusset in all ankle boots.

Riding Chaps:

We repair/replace zips, straps, elastics, poppers and rivets to refurbish your Riding Chaps to their former glory.

Protective Soles and Tips:

Horse sweat and manure are very aggressive on leather soles and make the leather very brittle to avoid this we can fit full length, thin rubber protective soles to your existing soles. This protects the stitches and prolongs the life of the original sole. When it’s worn out we simply replace it with a fresh protective sole. It lasts as long as an untreated sole but about a third the cost.

As soon as your boots enter our factory they undergo a full examination to determine the extent of the repair service they will require,

one of our qualified repair team will call to advise on your options.
